I have done 3 shoots in Perth so far. It's really nice meeting all you Oz cosplayers! <3
First was an Elfen Lied shoot with
Elfen Lied: Innocence
I had fun planning the shots beforehand. It was quite a challenge shooting in a dark area. I used hi-sync flash and had fun with the post-processing. The results were quite satisfying.
Second was a shoot for
Space Captain Katsura
Hmmm.. I wasn't very familiar with the character actually and didn't manage to do much
research. But with all the cape throwing, I'm glad the photos turned out well. With Lightroom, I am enjoying post-processing so so so much!
Lastly, it's my recent Psycho Pass shoot. I am proud to say that it was the most epic and my most satisfied shoot that I've done in a very very long while. I haven't felt so hyped up over a shoot in a long time. Of course, I put so much effort into this one, borrowing equipment (just a tripod), planning, buying materials and visiting the locations. With all that effort, I am glad it paid off and everyone had fun and likes the photos. It's probably one of the rare night shoots I've done. I seldom do night shoots because I lack equipment and confidence to do it well. Well, seeing the good results, I can confidently say now that I can manage a night shoot. And ohohohoh, this is the FIRST time I've shot in cold weather (it was raining too!). Instead of complaining of the heat in the costumes and sweating buckets (like back home in Singapore), the cosplayers were huddling together and freezing! haha! I was too hyped up feel cold. hehe..
Presenting
